Antebellum plantation house, ca. 1847 on the National Register
of Historic Places.
Set on 6 acres with a formal English garden and a Southern vegetable garden.
Located south of downtown 1/10 mile off Hwy 341.

Lee and Gordon's Mills
One of the oldest Grist Mills in the state, ca. 1869 on the
National Register of Historic
Places. General Store open Saturdays 10 AM - 6 PM.
Located on the east side of Hwy 27 behind Choo Choo BBQ.

Walker County Regional Heritage Museum
Located in the old train depot in downtown Chickamauga. Contains
railroad
memorabilia and artifacts, along with many other artifacts from the Civil War,
Spanish American War and Native American History

Coke Ovens Park
Bee hive coke ovens and interpretive markers. Ovens were used to
burn coal
brought down from the mountain to make coke, which was used in the iron ore
making process. Located just north of downtown off Hwy 341.
Veterans Park
A great place to relax or have a picnic. Located off
Crittenden Avenue.
