Chickamauga & Chattanooga National Military Park

Chickamauga & Chattanooga National Military Park was established “for the purpose of preserving and suitably marking for historical and professional military study the fields of some of the most remarkable maneuvers and most brilliant fighting in the war of the rebellion”. Each year many officers and leaders of the United States Army and our allies visit Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park to study leadership and tactics employed during the Civil War battles fought here in 1863.

Rock City

Located atop Lookout Mountain, just 6 miles from downtown Chattanooga, Rock City is a true marvel of nature featuring massive ancient rock formations, gardens with over 400 native plant species, and breathtaking "See 7 States" panoramic views. Pictured to the left is "Lover's Leap".

Lake Winnepesaukah Amusement Park

For over 86 years, the park has offered fun for all ages at reasonable prices. Lake Winnepesaukah features over 35 rides designed with the entire family's enjoyment in mind and is home to the world famous hills of the Cannon Ball Roller Coaster. Named for a Native American word meaning "bountiful waters" or "beautiful lake of the highlands," Lake Winnepesaukah has set itself apart over the years as a place to find unique & fun attractions, exciting events, and where generations can share old & new memories.

Tennessee Aquarium

The Tennessee Aquarium offers a journey through two buildings loaded with things to do and engaging experiences on Chattanooga’s beautiful downtown riverfront.  River Journey fascinates visitors with river otters, turtles, alligators, giant catfish and thousands of freshwater wonders.  Ocean Journey delights guests with penguins, sharks, butterflies and often scuba divers who interact with guests.  Plan at least two hours for your aquarium visit.  Aquarium admission includes access to both River Journey and Ocean Journey. Tickets are good all day so you can come and go and take advantage of these great combination ticket deals

Ruby Falls

Located over 1120 feet beneath the surface, Ruby Falls is the nation’s largest and deepest waterfall open to the public. Hundreds of gallons of water rush over by the minute and amaze visitors. Join us on Lookout Mountain to gasp at the remarkable beauty of Ruby Falls. On your way to the waterfall, enjoy the many geological wonders located throughout the cave. After your tour, be sure and take in the many scenic views from the top of the Lookout Mountain Tower. Ruby Falls is a must stop for any trip to or through the Chattanooga Area.
