Chickamauga & Chattanooga National Military Park
![]() Chickamauga & Chattanooga National Military Park was established “for the purpose of preserving and suitably marking for historical and professional military study the fields of some of the most remarkable maneuvers and most brilliant fighting in the war of the rebellion”. Each year many officers and leaders of the United States Army and our allies visit Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park to study leadership and tactics employed during the Civil War battles fought here in 1863.
Rock City

Lake Winnepesaukah Amusement Park

Tennessee Aquarium
![]() The Tennessee Aquarium offers a journey through two buildings loaded with things to do and engaging experiences on Chattanooga’s beautiful downtown riverfront. River Journey fascinates visitors with river otters, turtles, alligators, giant catfish and thousands of freshwater wonders. Ocean Journey delights guests with penguins, sharks, butterflies and often scuba divers who interact with guests. Plan at least two hours for your aquarium visit. Ruby Falls
